- 2010-2011
- “Until Death do us Part”: Understanding marriage and annulment in the Catholic Church given by Fr. Mike Shaw on September 29, 2010.
- "Euthanasia":
Exploring end of life issues with a Catholic view given by Fr. Manus Bradley on Oct. 27, 2010.
- "The Eucharist: Food for Body and Soul" Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, and Part 5 presented by Fr. Mike Shaw on November 20, 2011. How can we celebrate the Eucharist more meaningfully? Is Jesus really present with and among us? What is the "high" point of the Eucharistic celebration? How can we be Eucharist for others?
This CAFÉ was recorded in the church. The sound may not be optimum because the speaker was not wearing a mike and moved around a fair amount. It is recorded in sections because there were short discussions interspersed as part of the CAFÉ. Listeners should be able to get the main sense of Fr. Mike’s talk with no problem.
- "The Fab Four: The Gospels in Light of the Beatles" Part 1 and Part 2 given by Matthew Anderson on November 24, 2011. Click here for accompanying handout.
- "Beatitudes of the Workplace" (Spirituality in the Workplace) given by Willy Kitouga on December 15, 2010. Click here for accompanying powerpoint presentation.
- "Social & Environmental Justice: A Catholic Perspective (What's our world coming to?)" given by Fr. Ernie Schibli on January 26, 2011.
- "The Sandwich Years: Surviving the Sandwich Years without Being Eaten Alive" Part 1 and Part 2...When your kids need friends and your parents need parenting. Presented by Cathie Macaulay on February 22, 2011. Click here for accompanying powerpoint presentation.
- 2011 Lenten Mission given by Fr. Bob Longobucco (Diocese of Albany) on March 24-26, 2011.
(Note: Unfortunately, the talk on the first day was not recorded.)
